Michael Mueller Few albums go where this album dares to go. In my opinion, it is an album Scott Walker would have admired.

Black To Comm blends styles, hiding melodic touches below layers of noise, found sound and edgy, intermittent rhythms. It is genuinely unsettling, challenging listening.

And yet, there is an urgency here; a pushing for feeling; an oddly mournful, moving sense of hope.

It's a brilliant album, really, and an incredibly timely one. This is the sound of the world in 2019. Favorite track: Rameses II.
