This is probably the best dark-ambient release I've heard this year. The production is dazzling, and there is a real sense of composition that underscores the rich, dark palette of sounds and textures. Each song is its own discrete world, but this is a strongly coherent release. My only gripe is the length. I wanted more! I hope R.A.N.'s next release is long enough to do justice to her talent.
